  • 1 cup cooked quinoa use plain cooked quinoa
  • 1/2 cup almonds lightly roasted and chopped
  • 1/3 cup jaggery grated
  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder

Method
 

  1. Heat ghee in a pan on low flame and add grated jaggery. Let it melt slowly.
  2. Once the jaggery melts, add cooked quinoa and mix well.
  3. Add chopped roasted almonds and cardamom powder. Stir for 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Switch off the flame and allow the mixture to cool slightly.
  5. Grease your hands with a little ghee and shape the mixture into small delight balls.
  6. Let them set for 10 minutes. Store in an airtight container.

Notes

You can add pumpkin seeds or walnuts for extra crunch. Good for lunchbox snacks or as a pre-workout bite.
