
Makhana Coconut Barfi
A light and healthy Indian sweet made with roasted makhana and fresh coconut. Easy, quick and perfect for festive snacking.

Method
- Heat ghee in a pan and roast the makhana on low flame until crisp. Let them cool and grind into a coarse powder.
- In the same pan, add grated coconut and sauté for 2 to 3 minutes on low heat.
- Add jaggery powder and let it melt completely. Cook until the mixture starts to thicken.
- Mix in the makhana powder and cardamom. Stir well so everything comes together like a soft dough.
- Grease a plate, spread the mixture evenly, and press it down firmly. Sprinkle nuts on top and gently press.
- Let it cool for 30 minutes, then cut into barfi pieces.
Notes
For a richer taste, add a spoon of milk powder. Store the barfi in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
