
Turmeric Golden Milk Cookies

- Preheat the oven to 170°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk whole wheat flour, turmeric, cinnamon, dry ginger, black pepper, and baking powder.
- Add jaggery powder and mix well.
- Pour melted ghee and vanilla extract into the dry mix. Start combining with a spoon or hands.
- Add milk little by little until the dough comes together. It should be soft, not sticky.
- Shape small cookie balls, flatten gently, and place on the tray.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until edges turn slightly golden.
- Let the cookies cool completely; they firm up as they cool.
Notes
You can swap jaggery with coconut sugar. Add a pinch of cardamom for extra flavour. Store in an airtight jar for 1 week.
