
Healthy Fruit Custard
A light and creamy Indian fruit custard made with milk, seasonal fruits, and custard powder. Perfect for a healthy dessert.

Method
- Heat 1.5 cups milk in a saucepan on medium flame and bring it to a gentle boil.
- In a small bowl, mix custard powder with ½ cup cold milk. Whisk till smooth.
- Pour the custard mixture into the hot milk slowly, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
- Add jaggery or sugar and cook for 2 to 3 minutes until the mixture turns slightly thick.
- Switch off the flame and let it cool completely.
- Add chopped fruits and gently mix. Refrigerate for at least 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Use only fresh and firm fruits. Avoid citrus fruits like oranges inside the custard to prevent curdling. Add bananas only before serving to avoid browning.
